Spectrum-E©‘s Technical Analysis module performs a variety of automated spectrum engineering workflows based on recognized standards and recommendations. Spectrum-E© includes a module known as RunPropMod. This module performs a variety of automated spectrum engineering workflows based on nationally and internationally recognized standards and recommendations. This includes: propagation analysis, interference analysis, electromagnetic compatibility analysis, frequency nomination/assignment, population covered analysis, and more. The Technical Analysis features are made available to users through templates to simplify the user interface.

The Technical Analysis Module features frequency coordination analytical commonly associated to a spectrum manager. It also includes a GIS Module, where all digital cartographic data is used to reference radio stations and radio network locations. The GIS module also provides terrain elevation, ground conductivity data and clutter information to the Technical Analysis module. This data includes Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and occupancy information (clutter), ground conductivity and permitivity data from ITU sources (unless otherwise specified), satellite imagery, political maps as well as the ability to import vector data (lines, points, polygons, etc.) in SHP and KML/KMZ formats.
